About Kial James, LOP Photographer

As a long-time Nevada County resident, Kial James moved to the beautiful Lake of the Pines community a few years ago and now continues to raise his family here, with his wife and kids thriving in the local schools and community. A professional photographer and videographer by trade, Kial is also a published author and designer whose work has appeared in outlets like Via Magazine, Outdoor Magazine, Cowboys & Indians, and Fortune. He brings a rich blend of local knowledge and creative expertise to every project, capturing the essence of Lake of the Pines and Northern California in every shot.

Outside of Lake of the Pines, Kial works full-time for a national healthcare company, traveling across the country to photograph people and tell meaningful stories through photos and video for large-scale campaigns in the healthcare sector.

Here, you can find everything from prints and wall art to family photo sessions and personalized stationery sets, all featuring the unique beauty of our community. My goal is to provide you with beautiful images that celebrate the place we call home.
