Fall color in Nevada city is spectacular until early November.
If you're looking for some "local" hot spots for capturing fall color in and around downtown Nevada City, CA, look no further than this map. With close to 20 years of documenting and photographing Nevada City, here are a few of my favorite locations to capture the beautiful variation of autumn. Fall colors and times vary of course, but typically, the season peaks around Halloween for the BEST fall color. So get out there with your camera or phone in hand and start exploring!
